01Who we are

Worx is a web, app and software development studio based in Dubai Production City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the sister company of the marketing agency Glimpse. In this policy "Worx", "we", "us" and "our" mean Worx, and "you" means anyone who visits our website or contacts us.

For the personal data described here, Worx is the party that decides how and why it is used.

02What we collect

Information you give us

• Project briefs. When you use the project planner on our contact page: the services you need, your goals, timeline and budget range, your name, company name and website, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and anything you write about your project.
• Quick messages. When you use the quick contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Direct contact. When you email, call or message us on WhatsApp: the details you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

• Usage statistics. Pages viewed, the page that referred you, your country, browser, operating system and device type, collected in aggregate by Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and is not used to identify you.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, time of request and the page requested, to deliver the site securely.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, such as health, religious or biometric data, and we ask you not to include it in a brief.

03How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, understand your project and prepare a proposal.
• To deliver, support and invoice the work we agree with you.
• To keep the website secure, working well and easy to use.
• To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve them.
• To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

04Our legal basis

We process personal data only where we have a lawful reason to do so:

• Consent. When you send us a brief or a message, you agree to us using those details to reply. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Contract. When we need the data to prepare or carry out an agreement with you.
• Legitimate interests. To run, secure and improve our website and business, where this does not override your rights.
• Legal obligation. When the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

05Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics work without cookies.

To make the site easier to use, your browser may keep a few small items in its own local storage, such as the answers in a project brief you have not finished yet, so you can pick up where you left off. This stays on your device; it is not sent to us until you submit the brief. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings, or with "Start over" in the planner.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and some scripts from the jsDelivr network. These providers receive your IP address so they can deliver the files to your browser.

06Who we share it with

We share personal data only with trusted providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as far as they need it:

• Vercel, which hosts the website and provides our cookie-free analytics.
• Formspree and EmailJS, which deliver the briefs and messages you send through our forms to our inbox.
• Meta (WhatsApp), when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
• Glimpse, our sister company, when your project includes marketing work and you have asked us to involve them.
• Professional advisers and authorities, such as accountants, lawyers or regulators, when required by law or to protect our rights.

07International transfers

Some of our providers store or process data outside the UAE, for example in the European Union or the United States. Where this happens we rely on providers with appropriate safeguards in place, as permitted under UAE data protection law.

08How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and normally no longer than two years if no project goes ahead. Client project and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

09How we protect it

The website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to enquiries is limited to the team members who need it, and we use reputable providers with strong security practices. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data and will act promptly if something goes wrong.

10Your rights

Subject to the law, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your data, or limit how we use it.
• Stop using your data, or withdraw a consent you gave.
• Send your data to you or to another provider in a common format.

To make a request, email Hello@worxbyglimpse.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

11Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

12Other websites

Our site links to other websites and platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps, and to projects we have built for clients. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your data, so please read their own privacy policies.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website, services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the website.
